From Stage to Studio

Hello! I’m Lauren and welcome to STRUT Fitness!

My journey into the world of fitness began with a lifelong love for performance.

I trained in Modern Dance and Tap at the Manor School of Ballet from a young age and soon found my passion for Musical Theatre.

Throughout school, I embraced every opportunity to perform, which naturally led me to professional training in Musical Theatre where I honed my craft in dance, singing and stage presence.

A life in the Spotlight

Over the years, I’ve had the joy of performing in musicals, pantomimes, bands and dance productions. A particular highlight was starring as Meg in Phantom of the Opera in New Zealand.

I have represented Scotland at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games closing ceremony and toured with Adam Ant as a backing singer.

As a choreographer, I’ve brought countless productions to life, and as part of the ukulele duo Lauren and Liss, I’ve performed everything from weddings to corporate events, always celebrating connection through music and movement.

Where Performance Meets Fitness

Fitness has always been a natural part of my lifestyle. Beyond staying stage-ready, movement makes me feel strong and confident. STRUT Fitness was born from the desire to blend dance and fitness in a fun, inclusive and empowering way.

My classes are for anyone who has ever dreamed of performing but didn't know where to start, and as a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer, I help people discover joy and confidence through high-energy workouts and expressive movement.
